Heavy oil discovered on Turkey-Syria border

An oil field has been found on the Turkish-Syrian border, the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) said on Twitter.
"New Discovery from Turkey-Syria Border! As a result of our studies in Gunyurdu-1 well, located 32 km east of Nusaybin district of Mardin, we discovered the 11.8 API worth of heavy oil," the company tweeted.
