Gas prices in Europe grow 2.5%

Gas prices in Europe rose to $1,500 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time since October 14, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.
Thus, the price of January futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands rose by 2.5% to $1,500.9 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Gas began surge amid discussions of the initiative to introduce a price cap in the European countries.
On November 22, the European Commission proposed to limit the price of natural gas at the level of 275 euros per 1 MW/h according to the TTF hub index.
