Gas prices in Europe fall slightly

Gas prices in Europe on April 7 morning showed a negative trend, dropping to below $1,200 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the data of the London Stock Exchange ICE.
May futures on the index of the largest European hub TTF opened the trading session at $1,194.3, down 1.5% against April 7 settlement price.
Gas prices in Europe has recently shown strong volatility after the hostilities began in Ukraine.
In early March, amid fears of a ban on the export of Russian energy resources, gas prices renewed their historical highs for four days in a row, after which they fell by more than 3 times by the middle of the month: on March 7, futures contracts were trading at almost $3,900, and by March 21, gas prices fell below $1,100.
