Gas prices in Europe fall by almost 18%

Gas prices in Europe during the exchange trading dropped below $1,100 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London ICE stock exchange.
The price of January futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands dropped to $1,064 per 1,000 cubic meters.
The overall decline in gas prices since the beginning of the day is almost 18%.
The exchange price of gas in Europe on December 21 for the first time in history exceeded $2,000 per 1,000 cubic meters amid imminent cold and with abnormally low gas reserves in European underground storage facilities.
