Gas prices in Europe fall 6%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe at the beginning of trading on October 10 for the first time since June 29 fell below $1,500 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.
On October 10 trading, futures contracts on the TTF index opened with a decrease of 6%. Thus, the cost of gas is at around $1,489. The dynamics is given from the settlement price of October 7, the previous trading day, when gas prices were $1,582.9 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Current prices, despite the decline, are several times higher than last year.
