Gas prices in Europe fall 12%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe declined 12%, dropping below $2,220 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.

The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous day – $2,542.9 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Exchange prices for gas in Europe at the beginning of trading on September 6 fell by almost 8%, to $2,350 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.

The October futures (according to the index of the largest European hub TTF) opened trading at $2,423.5 per 1,000 cubic meters (-4.7%).

Futures amounted to $2,346.3 per 1,000 cubic meters (-7.7%). The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous day - $2,542.9 per 1,000 cubic meters.
