Gary Jones: Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan has huge solar energy potential

Nakhchivan has huge potential in terms of solar energy, Gary Jones, BP Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye, said in an interview with journalists on June 3, Report informs.

“There are favorable conditions for the installation of solar panels and the creation of a large export potential. We've heard a lot about this and I think it's a huge opportunity for the region. Last year we held a meeting on energy projects in Shusha, and this year in Nakhchivan. I can't wait to visit the historical and cultural sites of Nakhchivan for the rest of the day,” Gary Jones added.
