Four more energy documents to be signed in Baku

Four documents are set to be signed on the sidelines of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and Green Energy Advisory Council meetings in Baku.

According to Report, the signing ceremony will be attended by representatives from the energy ministries of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

The agreements include:

- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministries of Energy of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and AIIB.

- An Investment Agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and Enerso Jabrayil LLC for the Horizon Solar PV project in Azerbaijan.

- An Investment Agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and Clean Energy Jabrayil LLC for the Shams Solar power plant project in Azerbaijan.

- An Implementation Agreement between the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and Nobel Energy Limited for the evaluation, development, and implementation of a 30 MW solar power plant in Nakhchivan.

Additionally, an Operation Agreement was signed earlier today between Azerenerji OJSC and the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEİAŞ) to enhance the electricity export capacity from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan to Türkiye.
