Energy Regulatory Agency: Some contractor companies demand extra service fee using different ways

The Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy revealed that some contractor companies artificially exaggerate prices of some services abusing confidence of consumers, Report informs referring to warning sent by the agency to contractors.

According to the agency, contractors demand extra service fees using different ways, give false information about free services.

"In connection with this, we notify the consumers that the Agency grants permits freely and no consultation services are rendered to consumers to obtain these permits."

Moreover, among the services provided by natural monopolists, granting of Technical Conditions, services on consideration of documents by state bodies for exploitation, as well as agreement of construction projects are carried out freely (payments can be done for preparation of these projects by contractors)

Those intending to get more information can call 974, apply to Technical Councils in ASAN Kommunal and ASAN Service.

At the same time, the consumers can apply to branches of the Agency for methodical support to register projects on energy supply and gasification and get acts for exploitation.
