Electricity production figures announced for Soyugbulag small HPP in Kalbajar

Since its commissioning, the Soyugbulag Small Hydropower Plant (HPP) on the Tartar River in Kalbajar district has generated 42 million kWh of electricity as of July 1.

Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy, that the Soyugbulag HPP was commissioned on August 25, 2023.

The plant is a derivation-type high-pressure facility with a total capacity of 5.3 MW, comprising two hydro units, each with a capacity of 2.65 MW.
