Economy minister: Slovakia interested in long-term co-op with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is a very promising source of gas for Slovakia.

According to Report’s correspondent sent to Sofia, Slovak Minister of Economy Karel Hirman told reporters.

“I hope that we will be able to establish long-term cooperation with Azerbaijan in the gas market as well. Slovakia is ready for this,” Hirman said.

He noted that Slovakia has established ties with all its neighbors. “Therefore, we can be a very promising partner for Azerbaijan in distributing gas to other parts of Europe. We have gas storage facilities, and SOCAR can become an important partner for us,” the Slovak minister added.
