Deputy minister: Investment cost of green energy projects in Azerbaijan - $1.5B

The total investment value of implemented and ongoing projects within the energy transition in Azerbaijan is $1.5 billion, Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev said at the conference “Education in the Green Growth Agenda,” Report informs.

“These are large projects designed for 20-25 years. This is an indicator of confidence in the future of the country and state policy,” he added.

Valiyev noted that Azerbaijan has voluntarily defined a number of goals that relate to global climate change and reducing emissions into the atmosphere.
