Cudd Well Control explores opportunities to enter Azerbaijan's oil, gas market

The US company Cudd Well Control is in talks with oil and gas companies operating in Azerbaijan, including the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), to enter the local market, Edilberto Cacho, the company’s representative, told Report.

He made this insight on the sidelines of the IADC Drilling Caspian 2025 conference and exhibition in Baku.

"We are interested in expanding our operations in the Caspian region. We are in talks with SOCAR and other companies. We are currently in Azerbaijan to familiarize ourselves with the processes and project details regarding well control services," he said.

Cudd Well Control, a division of Cudd Energy Services, is a leading service provider in fire suppression, well control, and engineering support in this field. Since 1978, the company has been providing services for emergency response during drilling, workover, and oil and gas production operations both onshore and offshore.
