Budapest interested in clean energy from Azerbaijan

Hungary seeks access to clean energy produced in Azerbaijan, Deputy State Secretary for Energy Policy of the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, Márk Dezső Alföldy-Boruss, said during the Baku Energy Forum, Report informs.
"Hungary supports the Green Energy Corridor initiative, seeking to access clean energy produced in Azerbaijan. This will strengthen our energy security and help achieve climate goals," he said.
Márk Dezső Alföldy-Boruss added that COP29 marked the beginning of a new era, as the climate finance guidelines have already been approved.
"Hungary believes in cooperation, green development and hopes that as a partner it will be able to effectively use the basic achievements of COP29," he said.
