Brent oil prices exceeded $119 per barrel for the first time since February 13, 2013, Report informs referring to the auction data.

The price of May futures for Brent crude oil on the London ICE exchange has increased by 3.30% and reached $116.66 per barrel, Report informs referring to the data of the trading platform as of 6:54 a.m. (GMT+4).
The last time Brent reached $116 per barrel was in August 2013.
The cost of a futures contract for WTI crude oil for delivery in April 2022 rose by 2.44% to $113.30 per barrel, according to trading data as of 7:03 a.m. (GMT+4).
