BP preparing for FID on Shah Deniz Compression project

BP Azerbaijan is preparing to make a final investment decision on the Shah Deniz Compression (SDC) project in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, Tamam Bayatly, spokesperson for BP Azerbaijan, told journalists, Report informs.
"The environmental impact report on the construction of a new compressor platform at the Shah Deniz field has been approved by the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan. We are currently preparing for the final investment decision. After that, construction work will begin," she added.
