The AIOC (Azerbaijan International Operating Company) for the development of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil fields doesn’t plan to resume oil supplies via the Baku-Tbilisi-Supsa oil pipeline in June, Report informs referring to BP, the operator of the project.
“The AIOC have decided to continue to shut down the Western Route Export Pipeline (WREP) including the Supsa Terminal on the Black Sea coast of Georgia into the month of June. Accordingly, no tanker liftings with WREP oil have been planned for this month. This is a precautionary measure to avoid a potential disruption to the WREP operations because of the potential tanker unavailability at the Black Sea,” reads the report.
In May, oil from Supsa wasn’t shipped, either.
