Azerigaz announces appointment of new director general

Ruslan Aliyev, the director general of Azerigaz Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has stepped down from his role, Azerigas told Report.

Taking over the position is Azer Mammadov, who previously served as the Deputy Director of the Azerigaz Production Union.

Prior to this appointment, Mammadov held the position of adviser to the CEO at SOCAR Energy Georgia until March 2023.
