Azerbaijani population increases fuel expenses by 12%

In January-February 2022, gas filling stations sold 361 million manat worth of gasoline and diesel fuel to consumers in Azerbaijan.
Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee that the sales of gasoline and diesel fuel increased by 11.9% compared to the same period last year.
In the first two months of this year, 5.2% of consumer spending on consumer goods was spent on gasoline and diesel fuel.
In January-February this year, 7 billion manats, including 3.9 billion manats worth of food, beverages, and tobacco products, 3.1 billion manat worth of non-food products were sold to consumers in the retail trade networks.
