Azerbaijan, World Bank discuss AZURE evaluation

Azerbaijan and the World Bank have held discussions regarding the Azerbaijan Scaling-Up Renewable Energy Project (AZURE), Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA).
Samir Akhundov, Chairman of the AERA Board, welcomed a World Bank delegation to Azerbaijan, led by Roger Coma Cunill, Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank Group.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of evaluation work for AZURE, considering changes made to its scope, as well as the progress of technical assistance aimed at supporting the energy sector.
They also exchanged views on tariff policy, reviewed the support areas proposed by the World Bank, and discussed prospects for future cooperation.
