Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan energy cooperation agreement approved

President Ilham Aliyev has approved the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan on Cooperation in the Energy Sector."
According to Report, the Azerbaijani head of state signed a decree approving the agreement.
Under the decree, after the agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Energy will ensure the implementation of its provisions, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will notify the Government of Turkmenistan that the necessary domestic procedures for the agreement to enter into force have been completed.
