Azerbaijan shares data on gas exports to Serbia

Azerbaijan exported 6,274,450 cubic meters of natural gas worth $2,605,440 to Serbia in January-February 2024, Report informs with reference to State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.

The data pertains to the volumes reported by the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, with the entirety of these volumes being attributed to the month of February.

On November 15, 2023, a contract was signed between the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the Serbian state-owned natural gas provider, Srbijagas on the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Serbia, starting from 2024.

Under the terms of this contract, Serbia is set to receive up to 400 million cubic meters of natural gas in 2024. It is planned to increase these volumes in the future.
