Azerbaijan sees increase in its revenue from methanol exports

In January-November 2024, Azerbaijan exported methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $94.9 million, Report informs, citing the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to the center, this is $13.5 million or 16.6% more compared to the same period last year.
In November alone, Azerbaijan exported methanol worth $11 million, which is $2.7 million or 32.5% more compared to a year ago.
During the 11 months, Azerbaijan's non-oil-gas exports increased by 1.9% year-on-year to $3.1 billion. Meanwhile, the export value of food products increased by 12.3% to $923 million.
