Azerbaijan sees 3% increase in petroleum products exports

In January-August of 2025, Azerbaijan exported just over 438,660 tons of petroleum products, valued at approximately $233.306 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
Compared to the same period last year, the volume of oil product exports increased by 3.6%, while the value declined by 14.9%.
In the reporting period, petroleum products accounted for 1.37% of Azerbaijan's total exports.
Overall, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $32.118 billion in the first eight months of 2025. Of this, $17.065 billion came from exports and $15.053 billion from imports. Over the past year, exports declined by 6.4%, while imports grew by 17.9%.
