Azerbaijan's profit from petroleum coke exports soar

In January-May 2025, Azerbaijan exported 67,064 tons of petroleum coke worth $21.34 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
This is 34.03% less and 2.5 times more than in the same period last year, respectively.
Over the past five months, the share of petroleum coke in the country's total exports was 0.19%.
In January-May 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $20.97 billion. Of the foreign trade turnover, $11 billion fell on exports, and $9.96 billion on imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 1.2%, while imports increased by 36.5%.
