Value of Azerbaijan's liquefied gas export more than triples

In the first two months of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 5,288 tons (-65.8%) of liquefied gas (butane, ethylene, propylene, butylene, and butadiene gases, in liquid form) worth $ 2.54 million (+11%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, 4,496 tons (-58.9%) worth $ 2.23 million (+13.1%) were sold to Russia, 494.76 tons (-77.2%) worth $ 193.45 million (+28.1%) to Pakistan, and 297 tons (-87.5%) worth $ 116.13 million (-30.1%) to Afghanistan.
During the year, 1 ton of liquefied gas supplied by Azerbaijan to foreign markets rose in price by 3.2 times.
