Azerbaijan produced around 16.9 million tons of oil (including condensate during the first seven months of 2024, Report informs, referring to the country’s Energy Ministry.
Of that, 9.7 million tons of this oil came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields, 2.5 million tons (condensate) from the Shah Deniz field, and 0.3 million tons (condensate) from the Absheron field.
Also, the State Oil Company (SOCAR) contributed 4.4 million tons of oil (including condensate).
During this period, approximately 14.1 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported. Of this, 12.2 million tons fell to the consortium, and 1.9 million tons fell to SOCAR.
In the first seven months of this year, the country processed 3.7 million tons of oil.
In July 2024, daily oil production (including condensate) averaged 80,589 tons, with 65,681 tons being crude oil and 14,908 tons being condensate.
