Azerbaijan posts 28% decline in gasoline production

In January-February 2021, Azerbaijan produced petroleum products worth AZN 810.3 million, which is 13% less than a year ago, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, 247,400 tonnes of gasoline, 550,500 tonnes of diesel fuel, 15,300 tonnes of lubricants, 44,900 tonnes of petroleum bitumen were produced.
The gasoline production decreased by 28 %, diesel production – by 1.7%, petroleum bitumen – by 17.8%, while lubricant production rose by 2.3-fold.
During the first three months, the country produced 108,000 tonnes of gasoline for the petrochemical industry (+64.9%), 103,500 tonnes of kerosene (-29.4%), 8,900 tonnes of tons of fuel oil (-67.8%), and 64,900 tonnes of petroleum coke (+9.3%).
