Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan discuss collaboration in extractive projects

Rovshan Najaf, the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), met with Alim Bayel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan.

Report informs, citing SOCAR, that both sides expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan across various domains, particularly in the energy sector.

They especially highlighted the dynamically developing ties between SOCAR and Kazakh companies.

The meeting also involved an exchange of views on the current state of cooperation between SOCAR and KazMunayGas, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company, the transit of Kazakh oil through Azerbaijani territory, opportunities for collaboration in extractive projects, and other issues of mutual interest.
