Azerbaijan explores renewable energy co-op with São Tomé and Príncipe

Azerbaijan and São Tomé and Príncipe have conducted discussions on the possibilities of renewable energy cooperation, as well as coordination of activities in potential fields, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on X, Report informs.
“Within the framework of COP29, we met with Nilda da Mata, the Minister of Environment, and Ginesio da Mata, the Minister of Planning, Finance and Blue Economy of São Tomé and Príncipe.
We discussed the importance of #economic tools in boosting the efficiency of climate action, opportunities for collaboration in the renewable energy sector between our countries, as well as aligning cooperation in potential areas,” reads the post.
