Azerbaijan discusses transitioning to green energy with Singaporean company

The Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, and SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with the Chairman and CEO of Trafigura Group Pte Ltd., Jeremy Weir, on the sidelines of World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland, Report informs.

“Our meeting focused on the cooperation between the company and our country in the fields of transitioning to green energy, decarbonization, aluminum production, prospects of Azerbaijan's business climate and joint cooperation opportunities in potential areas within the framework of COP29,” Minister Jabbarov wrote on X.
