Azerbaijan and Greece mull cooperation on Southern Gas Corridor

Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has received Greek Ambassador to Baku Nikolaos Piperigkos.

Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy, that the minister stressed the cooperation as part of the global energy project - the Southern Gas Corridor, underlining the successful continuation of cooperation with Greece as a buyer of the Shah Deniz gas via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP). He highly appreciated Greece's participation in all sessions of the Consultative Board on the Southern Gas Corridor.

The participants in the meeting discussed proposals on holding the next session of the 'Joint Commission on Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Greece in the economic, industrial and technological spheres,' and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
