Alparslan Bayraktar: Türkiye soon to get energy and logistics flow via Zangezur corridor

In the near future, all energy resources and logistic routes will reach Türkiye via the Zangezur corridor, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar told journalists during the opening ceremony of the Türkiye-Syria gas pipeline, Report informs.

According to the minister, currently electricity from Azerbaijan is transmitted to Türkiye via Georgia.

"At the same time, other energy sources and logistic opportunities in Central Asia will also be delivered to Türkiye via Azerbaijan, and from there to Europe," he noted.

Bayraktar added that all projects related to the export of Azerbaijan's natural resources - oil, gas and electricity to Türkiye are being implemented in parallel and in a coordinated manner:

"Significant progress has been made in this direction. Among the main projects implemented so far, I can mention the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline and the Nakhchivan-Türkiye electricity interconnector," the minister emphasized.
