Agreements on energy cooperation to be signed in Baku

On April 4, Baku will host the 11th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 3rd Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council.

According to Report, representatives from 24 countries, including Azerbaijan and the European Union, as well as 7 international financial institutions and 42 energy companies will participate in the event.

The meeting will discuss the operation and development of the SGC, as well as prospects for green energy and energy corridors. As part of the sessions, meetings will be held between the ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, and Bulgaria on green energy transmission and trade, as well as an informal meeting of the steering committee of the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor.

During the event, documents on cooperation in the energy sector are planned to be signed. A press conference will be held following the meetings.
