Researchers from the Singapore University of Technology and Design have forecasted the end date of the COVID-19 pandemic in several countries around the world.

Report says, according to forecasts, pandemic will fade away in Azerbaijan by June.

By the study, the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Russia will die down on July 20, 2020, while in Georgia on June 6. Kyrgyzstan can overcome the virus on June 18, Moldova, on June 25. In Ukraine, the end of the pandemic is predicted on July 28, in Armenia on August 20. Kazakhstan in turn, can see the end of the pandemic only by September 27.

Researchers studied data on the coronavirus pandemic in 131 countries. They compiled a mathematical model of the spread of infection-the SIR model, which describes the dynamics of those susceptible to infection, infected, and recovered.

Singapore researchers warn that this is just a forecast, reminding that all estimates should be treated carefully, without "excessive optimism."
