Ministry: 1,504 students apply for transfer from one university to another

Baku. 8 February. REPORT.AZ/ Electronic acceptance of documents on the transfer of students from one university to another, both within and outside the country, a change of specialty, the transfer of students of secondary vocational schools and masters is completed.

Report informs citing the ministry of education that in the period of electronic reception of documents carried out from 1 to 7 February through the portal transfer.edu.az, a total of 1,504 people applied for transfer from one university to another.

Fourty of them were masters, 141 are people studying in foreign universities, 1,323 are in universities in the country. Statistics of persons wishing to transfer to secondary schools made 316. At the moment, appeals of students who want to transfer or change the form of education are being admitted. Results are expected to be announced by the end of February. Students transferred through the transfer.edu.az portal do not have the right to quit a transferred university or specialty.
