Jeyhun Bayramov: Efficient student loan system will be created in Azerbaijan next academic year

Baku. 15 February. REPORT.AZ/ "Efficient student loan system will be created in Azerbaijan in 2019-2020," Education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

The minister said that the Ministry of Education has intensively worked out with the relevant structures on this area and the work is underway: "We know that this process is not so simple. Because the student loan system should be targeted to the future, efficient system should be established in this area, and a comprehensive legislative framework should be created. We understand that student credits should be given differently from ordinary loans. This system should be based on international experience. The state should always support this issue."

Bayramov noted that the Working Group created on the issue of student loans, continuously works together with the representatives of the relevant state bodies: "I hope that the final project will be submitted to the government in the near future."
