An international symposium on 'Azerbaijan-Turkey ties and international relations' will take place on the 30th anniversary of the state independence on September 15-18 in connection with Azerbaijan's victory over Armenia.
Report informs that the event will be organized by the Institute of History at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science, Turkey's Ataturk High Institution of Culture, Language and History, and Ataturk Research Center.
The symposium, which will be held jointly with the Aghdam District Executive Power, will bring together the heads of the Ataturk High Institution of Culture, Language and History and Ataturk Research Center and more than 30 historians from Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The event will take place in Aghdam and last until September 16.
The symposium will hear reports on such topics as 'Independence history of the Republic of Azerbaijan,' 'Strategic ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the process leading to Karabakh victory,' "Turkey-Azerbaijan relations from Batumi Agreement (June 4, 1918) to Shusha Declaration (June 15, 2021) and others.
The participants are also expected to visit the liberated territories.
