250 pheasants released into wild

Pheasants bred on the private farm of Sheki resident Elshad Alkhasov were released into the wild with specialists from the Ilisu State Reserve.
Arzu Samadova, Deputy Chief of Biodiversity Protection Service, told Report that 250 pheasants were released into the Akharbahar range, Ajinohur and Sarija steppes, Ganikhchay, and Ayrichay areas in the Gakh region to restore the pheasant population.
"We apply to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to thank Elshad Alkhasov for his contribution to the wild pheasant breeding on his farm," – A. Samadova said.
