Temperature to rise 37 degrees in Azerbaijan on Saturday

“Tomorrow the temperature will be slightly higher than today - 30-32 C. On August 10 (Saturday), weak south-east wind will prevail, the temperature is expected to rise again.”

Director of National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva told Report.

She said that the maximum temperature in the capital will be 35-37 degrees, and the weather will be slightly humid.

Tagiyeva noted that such hot weather will be observed only one day: “On August 11, the north wind is expected to intensify again in the capital. Of course, in this case the temperature will drop. Over the last 15 years, such anomalous weather conditions accompanied with intensive rainfall were observed in 2010 and 2013.”
