Strong wind expected in Baku - WARNING

Baku. 4 October. REPORT.AZ/ The National Hydro Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has warned of an especially dangerous hydrometeorological event.

Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry that strong north-west wind will blow in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula from October 5 till October 6, intermittent rain is predicted in some places.

The weather will be unstable, lightning and intermittent rain are expected in the regions of Azerbaijan from October 5 till October 6. Torrential rain and hail are expected in some places, while snow is predicted in highlands. West wind will blow and intensify occasionally in some places.

The air temperature will drop 5-8 degrees compared to the previous days.
