Several new routes will open in the Hirkan National Park, Report informs citing director of the park Azer Mirzayev, who spoke at a round table on the theme "Ecotourism in the National Parks of Azerbaijan."
According to him, foreign tourists from America, Norway and other countries mainly want to see leopards.
Mizayev noted that now the park is working on 12 routes.
“Now, design work is underway in the park on the Healthy Life route,” he added.
Mirzayev emphasized that with the help of camera traps, one can see that leopards, wild boars and other wild animals living on the territory of the park move up to 2 km from residential areas.
