Minister: Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur suffered large-scale damage from Armenia's environmental terrorism

As a result of environmental terrorism, Karabakh and the Eastern Zangazur regions, which have suffered large-scale damage, is facing further consequences in terms of the presence of landmines and unexploded ordnance, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev, said at the public hearing held on November 4 in the Milli Majlis (Parliament) themed “Tackling the Threat of Landmines: The Impact of Explosives on the Ecosystem."
"So, we cannot carry out measures towards the restoration of the ecosystem due to the threat of landmines at the speed we want," he said.
