Hunting season in Azerbaijan starts next week

The hunting season for 2020-2021 in Azerbaijan will be open from September 1, Report says, referring to Firuddin Aliyev, Deputy Chief of the Biodiversity Protection Service.

The representatives of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency, the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Azerbaijan Hunters and Fishermen, Azerbaijan Ornithological Societies, and international organizations attended the meeting, discussed terms, norms, and limits of hunting of wild animals and birds, and decided to start the hunting season.

"The information about the terms and norms of hunting wild animals and birds allowed to be hunted is posted in the Announcements section of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources' official website," Aliyev added.

The opening of the season takes place by the decision of the Coordination Council for Hunting.
