Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan explore environmental collaboration

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan discussed opportunities for cooperation in environmental protection, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov met with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the preparations for the COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan in November 2024.

At the same time, they discussed the possibilities of future cooperation between the two countries in environmental protection.
