Treason trial ends with 15-year sentence for Bahruz Samadov in Azerbaijan

The court trial of Bahruz Samadov, accused of treason against the Azerbaijani state, concluded on Monday with the Baku Court of Grave Crimes sentencing him to 15 years in prison.
The case, initiated by the State Security Service (SGS), accused Samadov of collaborating with Armenian intelligence agencies. The trial, overseen by Judge Elnur Nuriyev, heard evidence detailing the charges under Article 274 of Azerbaijan's Criminal Code.
