A structured process to localize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has begun in Shusha and Nakhchivan, stated Huseyn Huseynov, advisor to the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, at WUF13 in Baku, according to Report.
He said that 83% of the global SDGs are still unmet.
"Integrating the SDGs into urban planning and policy is not a choice, but a necessity. In Shusha and Nakhchivan, a structured process to localize the SDGs has begun. This process turns global commitments into local results," he said.
