Based on the results of the survey, the potential labor force in Karabakh and East Zangazur is being determined by area and territory (cities and villages), Ibrahim Mirzayev, Head of the Department of International Relations, Information, and Press Service of the State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, said in an interview with Report while answering questions about the Great Return.
According to him, the employment of citizens who are relocated to the restored and newly built settlements is the focus of the relevant bodies: "Meetings are held with them, and knowledge, skills, and employment opportunities are studied. Both women and men are employed according to their professional skills. The State Committee conducts surveys regarding the employment of internally displaced persons in the current and post-Great Return periods. The educational and employment status of not only the respondent himself/herself but also family members is studied. Through surveys, it is determined in which sector and in which field the IDPs wish to work. The Committee, together with various local and international organizations, implements projects to support the population in terms of employment, acquiring new professional skills, or developing their traditional skills."
