"We insist on delivering the food cargo we brought to the people of Armenian descent in Khankandi, " Jeyhun Mirzayev, the General Secretary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, told Report's correspondent seconded to Aghdam.
He said that it is already evening and they are still waiting: "We have been waiting for four days. Due to certain problems, we have not been able to deliver the 40 tons of flour we brought to the residents of Armenian origin of the Karabakh economic zone. But we are persistent in this direction. We will wait here as long as necessary. Our goal and intention are clear. We will deliver 40 tons of flour to Armenian residents living in Karabakh economic zone. If we do not deliver, of course we will not leave this area. Negotiations were held today, but as you can see, there is no result."
It should be noted that on August 29, the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society sent aid from Baku to meet the needs of Armenians living in Karabakh. There are 40 tons of flour in the aid convoy on the Aghdam-Khankandi road.
