Restaurants in Azerbaijan to work until 2 am on New Year's Eve

Catering facilities were allowed to work from 00:00 on December 31, 2021, to 02:00 on January 1, 2022, Report informs, citing the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on the activities of public catering facilities, service enterprises, and vaccinations under a special quarantine regime.

According to the decision, the organization of New Year's events should be carried out in accordance with the current rules, requirements, and guidelines for the venues of events.

The total number of guests should not exceed 150 (one hundred and fifty) people, and the occupancy of each room should be determined, taking into account the area of the premises. At events with up to 150 guests, all persons over the age of 18 must have a certificate of vaccination with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or certificates of immunity or contraindications. The use of personal respiratory protection equipment by guests is not mandatory.

For service personnel (except for musicians), the presence of medical masks, gloves, and other personal protective equipment is required.

The owner of the event venue must enter the information about the halls, their capacity, and staff (including temporary workers) at least five days before the date of the event at icaze.e-gov.az. He must also provide information about the start and the end time of the event and the number of guests.
